The SIE exam is a 75 questions test that requires a passing score of 70%. This introductory level exam gauges assesses a person’s knowledge of basic securities industry information including the subjects to working in the financial industry. These include types of investment products and risks; the structure of the securities industry markets, regulatory agencies and their functions, along with prohibited practices.
